Unit 5

Unit 5 focuses on the value of empathy. Learners are motivated to understand and demonstrate empathy in a verbal and non-verbal way, focusing on developing a plan for understanding others and how to practice empathizing in difficult situations.

 

Learners are prompted to think about how they empathize, who they empathize with, and the value of empathy as an upstanding member of society. These concepts are investigated on the individual scale and then extended to the group setting.
