Unit 1

Many learners struggle to identify ways that they can improve their learning experience, and this can negatively affect an individual’s mentality and sense of self.

This unit provides students an opportunity to learn about themselves as individuals inside and outside the classroom, focusing on understanding concepts such as resiliency, self-affirmation, and self-care.

It is important that students understand that resiliency is an integral part of teamwork, leadership, and healthy self-perception. These qualities will benefit learners as they learn to understand themselves and provide them tools to prepare for the future.
