Mental Wellness: An In-Depth Explanation

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a well-documented decline in mental health. When students master mental well-being, they thrive in academics and employment and become better learners, employees, and citizens. In this course, you will learn how to integrate mental wellness into the classroom and how to use a human-centric tool called the Mockingbird Mental Wellness Rubric to promote mental health (to staff and students) and prioritize prevention and wellness competencies in the classroom. The course focuses on creating empowering and powerful professional learning experiences and on teaching strategies that are immediately applicable in the classroom (or program).
