Ready to Learn

Description

Ready to Learn is a curriculum that teachers deliver to program participants.
Ready to Learn is designed for a target audience of 16-adult with an Educational Functioning Level of Low Intermediate (4.5-5.9)   The curriculum however has been successfully implemented with higher and lower level students.  For more information, contact Mockingbird.

The units and lessons are designed to be delivered in sequence as collectively, the lessons create a cohesive learning experience. 
The role of the educator in a humanistic curriculum is to be a guide and mentor.  Teachers are not the source of knowledge but a facilitator of knowing acquisition.  This role is important to the design and delivery of the curriculum.

Lessons are aligned to College and Career Readiness Standards.
Curriculum is being implemented throughout the United States in Adult Basic Education Programs, High Schools, and Community Colleges.  We welcome inquiries from research institutions and colleges who are interested in researching student outcomes, impact, etc.

Ready to Learn Budget

Second year cost and beyond are $5,000 annually.  This is the annual site license fee.
