The Mockingbird Methodology is a responsive and compassionate approach to teaching, coaching, and mentoring vulnerable learners.
The Mockingbird Methodology teaches practitioners how to create transformational learning experiences and helps education programs transition from transactional education programs to transformational programs.
In a responsive approach, practitioners understand how vulnerabilities (ex: trauma, chronic stress, substance abuse, mental illness, academic gaps, neglect, etc.) impact student learning and practitioners compassionately and strategically teach, coach and mentor learners as students work towards their academic, workforce, and personal goals.
Our research-based approach will help you create classrooms and program learning experiences that are 1.) visible and transparent, 2.) active and collaborative, 3.) psychologically safe, 4.) socially non-threatening.
Mockingbird will provide a QR code to download any workshop resources.
We record workshop events. Some event recordings are available to registered participants.
